Our historical costume rental process for residents from Healdsburg and throughout Sonoma County is simple, customized, and affordable. We begin by taking your measurements so we can select costume pieces that fit you, rather than trying to sell you on something that doesn’t work for your body type. From there, we’ll select a variety of pieces from our stock for you to try on depending on the look you’re going for. If we have authentic vintage pieces from the time period in stock, we’ll use them to create a totally customized look for you, complete with shoes, jewelry, handbags, hats, ties, belts, and other accessories. For more period-specific looks like colonial costumes, we’ll bring out our recreation pieces for you to try on.
Once you’ve found the right costume and we’ve accessorized you completely, we’ll list out all the pieces of your costume on one of our rental forms and take your credit card information. You pay only for the time you use the costume, not pick-up to drop-off. Go have a ton of fun at your event, then bring the costume back and we’re good to go!
